Melanie Racine

Director of Special Projects

Melanie Racine, MPH is Director of Special Projects and has worked for BHCHP since 2014 focusing on project management, proposal development, analysis, and strategic communications. Her aim is to help the program design, plan, implement, and share the successes of new initiatives that improve community health and advance social justice. Prior to BHCHP, Melanie was a Presidential Management Fellow with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, DC, within HUD’s Office of Strategic Planning and Management and its Office of HIV/AIDS Housing. She also previously served as a CDC Foundation Fellow researching multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from Emory University, with a concentration in behavioral sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Human Biology from Brown University.
