Katie Dillon is the Communications Manager at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) where she focuses on sharing BHCHP’s work with a broad audience of stakeholders via written and visual communication. She especially enjoys telling our patient and staff stories through blog writing, storytelling, and other forms of the written word. Her goal is to foster empathy and compassion—not charity or sympathy—for people experiencing homelessness. Prior to BHCHP, Katie worked as a communications professional at Health Leads, a national non-profit dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health. She also worked in Governor Patrick’s administration, where she focused on providing communications support for the Governor and Secretary of Housing and Economic Development.
